Meet Dr. Wright

Dr. Andrew P. Wright graduated cum laude from Hope College in Holland, MI in 1998, where he earned several research awards. In 2002 he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree (D.D.S.) from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI and afterwards, completed a General Practice Residency at Meriter Hospital in Madison, WI earning a Certificate in General Practice Dentistry.

Following private practice in Illinois, Dr. Wright obtained a Certificate and Masters of Science Degree (M.S.D.) in Endodontics at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH. While obtaining his clinical and academic endodontic training, he authored and published dental anatomy research in the journal, General Dentistry. Dr. Wright received awards for presenting surgery-based research at the annual meetings of the American Association of Endodontists and the Ohio Dental Association. Dr. Wright's master's thesis research on pain management has been published in the highly ranked Journal of Endodontics. He earned a certificate from the Misch International Implant Institute and is a fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. He is board-certified by the American Board of Endodontists.

Dr. Wright has been a leader and member of volunteer dental relief missions to migrant worker areas in northern Michigan, a reservation in Montana through the Indian Health Service, and in numerous orphanages/villages in rural India, Haiti, Mozambique and Belize where he provided patient care and preventative teaching.

Dr. Wright is currently a staff endodontist at Meriter Hospital, where he lectures and oversees dentists in the General Practice Residency. He is a member of the American Association of Endodontists, the American Dental Association, the Wisconsin Association of Endodontists, the Wisconsin Dental Association, the Dane County Dental Society, and the Christian Medical and Dental Association.
